I'm not quite sure how I stumbled upon Little Bets two summers ago, but when I read it early in the summer of 2014, I was blown away.
It was one of those books that served as a tipping point for me, for it built up on so many of the past ideas I had been reading about (such as grit, failure, innovation, and creativity) all the while leading me to new ideas and authors I couldn't believe I had never heard of before (Sarah Lewis, Carol Dweck and her "growth mindset," and Howard Schultz).
If I had to rank it, I'd say it's in the top 5 books I've read over the past five years. It's that good and that relevant. In fact, here is a blog post I originally wrote about the book when I finished reading it.
Here is the author offering more about his book and ideas.
